System Admin 3

Position Description: 
System Administrator who will provide Tier I - 3 support for implementation, troublesshooting and maintenance of IT systems in support of sustainment program.  Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.  Provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.  Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardward: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.  Essential Job Requirements:  Must have System Admin III experience providing Tiers 1-3 help desk support.  Virtualization; providing support to several remote locations.  Must have experience with LINUX system administration, CENTOS/RHEL 5/6 required.  Must have experience with Virtual Environment administration, VMware ESXI required.  Must have experience with Windows Syustem administration, 2008R2/Windows 7 required.  Experience with networking, Cisco/Bracade is highly desired.  I knowledge and understanding of virtualization, storage, and networking is required.  The ability and willingness to troubleshoot issues to resolution and continuous learning is a must.  Required Education and Certifications:  Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly; Appropriate DoD 8570 Certifications; HS/GED plus 9 years or BS degree plus 5 years experience in System Administration
